St. Philip's In The Hills Episcopal Church offers a Lenten Retreat Day on Saturday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for people of all ages.

During this intergenerational retreat day, entitled "Our Common Prayer: Uniting Us in Faith and Life," participants will explore the many spiritual gifts of the Episcopal prayer book. Participants will discover the richness of the Anglican tradition, with lively and engaging retreat leaders for each age group.  Sessions will include talks, along with time for prayer, worship, and reflection.

The Rev. Canon Jeff Bullock, Canon Theologian of the Diocese of Arizona, will lead sessions for adults, the Rev. Dr. Lucas Mix, Episcopal Chaplain at the University of Arizona, will lead sessions for youth, and Nancy Shumaker, Canon for Children's Ministries of the Diocese of Arizona, and childhood specialist Harriet Claiborne will lead sessions for children.  Lunch will be a time for all groups to come together for a meal and sharing.

$25.00 retreat fee ($40.00 for families) includes materials and lunch. For more information or to register, contact the Rev. Greg Foraker (greg.foraker@stphilipstucson.org).
