TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now)- Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused a suspicious car crash at a local resort in the Catalina Foothills last night.

Firefighters rushed to the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort after someone called 911 to report a car fire.

After the fire was put out, detectives say they noticed some suspicious signs around the car that prompted them to call in the regional bomb squad.

Officials located the owner of the car and are questioning him about the incident.

No explosive device was found in the vehicle, but arson detectives have taken over the investigation.
